Exploring Pathways to Coordinated Specialty Care for Early Psychosis: Barriers to Access and Facilitating Engagement

This presentation will explore barriers and facilitators to accessing coordinated speciality care. The presentation will then link how prior experiences impact initial and sustained engagement in coordinated specialty care. Finally, examples will be provided on working within communities to produce impactful messages to address pathways to care and current strategies that are being implemented to improve family engagement. 
 
Objectives: 
1. Increase understanding of pathways to coordinated speciality care and racial disparities.  
2. Describe the importance of family engagement.  
3. Describe how community outreach and campaigns can be used to facilitate access to services and bridge the gap between community and mental health services.
