Differentiating between Clinical High Risk for psychosis and First Episode Psychosis: opportunities and challenges

This presentation will provide an overview of Clinical High Risk of psychosis (CHRp) and First Episode Psychosis (FEP) with a focus on a continuum model. Discussion will include cultural considerations when assessing for CHRp and will examine the opportunities and challenges of identification and treatment in the earliest stages of psychosis.  
 
Objectives: 
1. Describe the key features of CHRp 
2. Llist screening and assessment tools for CHRp 
3. Identify factors that determine conversion to full psychosis 
4. State cultural considerations associated with assessing for CHRp
