  • Program Description:

Restorative justice is a new way of orienting to crime and harm that focuses on identifying and repairing the harm to the victim, holding the offender accountable, and involving, to the extent possible, all those affected in developing a response. Restorative justice is increasingly being utilized around the world and social workers will be involved, either directly or indirectly, in many aspects of its implementation through the work they do in courts, schools, prisons and with victims and offenders. Therefore, it’s important for social workers to learn more about this evolving area of practice.
