In addition to his forensic and clinical work, Michael has provided services as a program consultant, educator and resource for various law officers, agencies, and attorneys dealing with the sexually deviant population. He is also a lecturer and consultant on topics such as sexual offense, chemical dependency, workplace violence, sexual harassment, and spent twenty-one years as a part-time instructor at Danville Area Community College where he taught classes in psychology, substance use and criminal justice.

A Master’s level therapist, Michael Kleppin is also a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Illinois in addition to being a Licensed Sex Offender Evaluator, Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider and Certified Addictions Counselor. With over thirty-four years of therapeutic experience, Michael specializes in working with clients struggling with sex addiction, sexual dysfunction, and sexually deviant behaviors. In his private practice, Michael provides clinical therapy for those seeking to recover from their sexual addiction in both individual and group settings. As a forensic therapist, Michael serves as an evaluator and therapist for sexual offenders, sexually dangerous/violent perpetrators involved with various jurisdictions including county probation departments, state parole division, federal probation as well as the Bureau of Prisons and agencies involved in the supervision of the civilly committed populations.
