These challenges can include supervisee skill & development, agency issues, process & systemic issues & the licensing requirements. Being able to effectively address these challenges will lead to a more productive & satisfying supervisory experience, both the supervisor & supervisee, as well as, better prepare the supervisee to become licensed, which can shorten supervision time & lead to more competent independently practicing social workers in the field.
