Program Presenter:

Niels Beck, PhD received his Bachelor���s and Doctorate Degrees from Saint Louis University, and his Master���s Degree from Southern Illinois University. He currently serves as Interim Chair of the Department of Psychiatry, University of Missouri-Columbia Medical School where he is also Chief Psychologist, a member of the Sports Medicine Staff and Professor of Psychiatry. He has also worked extensively with Mid-Missouri Mental Health Center. Dr. Beck has authored or co-authored dozens of articles and made numerous presentations on topics ranging from athletes with disordered eating to pain management to the epidemiology of childhood depressive disorders.
